Black Oxygen: Dr. Michelle Robinson on living and thriving with ADHD
This week Dr. Michelle Robinson and host Angela Russell talk about being Black women with ADHD. They discuss growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, being diagnosed as adults, how ADHD presents differently in girls and women compared to the traditional understanding, and shared experiences in perfectionism and executive functioning. Michelle emphasized the importance of neurodiversity as natural variation instead of pathology. They go on a number of ADHD related side-quests and also end up talking about the Tamia Hustle, science, and climate change.


🔗 100 Black Men of Madison, Inc. will host 30th annual Virginia and Perry Henderson Back to School Celebration on Saturday
The annual event aims to distribute more than 1,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to area students.

A group seeking to recall DeForest Area School Board member Jeff Miller submitted enough signatures to potentially trigger a special election.

More than 40 restaurants, food trucks, and caterers will participate in the milestone celebration of Black-owned food businesses August 10–17.
